My dearest Esmeralda.
I'm leaving this place tonight, my employers could not offer me any amount to stay.
The sleepwalking has been the cause of much trouble in the past. We've spoken of my nocturnal escapades at length so I will not bore you with the details, but what I've seen tonight shakes me to my core.
The thing, the thing below the ice.
It started as utterances of the local townsfolk that were chalked up to wild imaginings conjured from excessive isolation in this frigid hellhole. But it's real, my love. I saw it.
And now it's seen me.
I pray we will be together soon,
